The short version
This site sets no tracking cookies. No analytics, no advertising, no pixels. The one thing we store on your device is your answer to the cookie banner, so that you are asked once and not on every page. If you decline, nothing else is ever stored.
What we store today

linqn.cookie-consent - TypeLocal storage entry, not a cookie. It is never sent to our servers.
- PurposeRecords whether you accepted or declined, and when.
- BasisStrictly necessary. Consent is not required to store a consent decision, because without it we could not honour the choice you made.
- LifetimeUntil you clear your browser's site data, or change your answer.
That is the whole list. Nothing on this site currently depends on your accepting, which is why declining changes nothing about how the page works.
Changing your mind
Use , the same link that sits in the footer of every page, to reopen the banner and give a different answer. Withdrawing is one click, the same as giving it. You can also clear the entry yourself from your browser's site-data settings, which puts the banner back to a first visit.
What still reaches a third party
Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. That is a request, not a cookie, but your browser has to contact Google's servers to fetch the files, and Google receives your IP address and user agent in the process. It is covered in section 2 of the privacy policy.
When this will change
The product application at app.linqn.me needs a session cookie to keep you signed in. That one is strictly necessary and does not require consent, but it will be listed here once the app is live. If we ever add analytics or any other non-essential cookie, we will publish it in the list above and set it only after you have accepted, with the same weight given to refusing as to accepting.
Controlling cookies yourself
Every major browser lets you see and delete stored cookies and site data, and block them per site, under settings for privacy or site data. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop the product application from keeping you signed in.
